Here is a fun simple activity Dustin and I did one afternoon to help us learn our shapes and work on fine motor skills.
First, I put sticky Velcro on all four ends of a colored jumbo craft stick. Then, I made handouts on Photoshop with various shapes. I tried to match the colors to the craft sticks to help make it a little easier.
Then, we played and made shapes!
And played some more . . .
Because of the size of the craft sticks, I was limited to make only a few shapes on our paper. I would probably try regular size craft sticks next time. Let me know if you try it out. Thanks for reading!

Do you have a link for your pages to go with the sticks?
ReplyDeleteSorry for the late response. I don't have a link for the pages because I didn't think the quality was the greatest. I made them really quick. I can go a head and post them though for free. There are only three shapes, because I used jumbo craft sticks and couldn't fit any other shapes on there. I will try and make some for the smaller craft sticks. Thanks for visiting!

ReplyDeletenice blog. Making stuff from craft sticks and pop sickle sticks are great fun for both children and adults who love art. I am so into these craft and I ordered a huge bundle of craft sticks from http://woodpaintsticks.com/wood-craft/
