After Dustin painted this morning and I finished cleaning up his mess . . . I mean, beautiful creations, I decided we should do something that did not involve a good belly button cleaning afterwards.
\
I cut a handful of coffee straws in half and poured a bowl of mini marshmallows; that got Dustin's attention!
We used the same concept as the toothpick and marshmallow activities, just a little safer for his age, and began to build shapes and prisms. Well . . .
I built shapes, he ate them. This may not have quite gone the way I planned, but Dustin sure enjoyed it. It at least made treat time fun :)
Happy building.
