Dustin has recently figured out the purpose of wooden puzzles and loves them . . . and I do too! It's amazing watching him sit still in one spot and focus on something. Just the sitting still part blows my mind.
After a few tries at each puzzle, it started looking too easy. To make it a little more challenging, I dumped all the puzzle pieces from three puzzles into a cake pan. I thought this was going to be too difficult, but he figured it out quickly and seemed to enjoy this new twist. He also thought it was hilarious that there were puzzle pieces in our cake pan . . . it's the little things sometimes.
